Five-Year Blended Family Statistic
We are coming up on the 5 year mark of some blended family statistics.
One would hope that balance could actually occur within a continuous rocky road of blended family and birth mom (my husband’s ex) drama. Granted, things have over time gotten better in some areas, but the struggle will continue.
I don’t see the end in sight unless birth mom did some major changes in how she insists on bringing up stepson, which is a lot of the drama and struggles we are faced with when two separate households are so different from one another.
Not to mention that birth mom will do everything in her power to make our lives miserable. She will never achieve this, but it is a frustrating journey at times.
