PASSPORT – DOES THE LAW REQUIRE BOTH PARENTS TO SIGN APPLICATION?
Our question is do both parents have to be in agreeance for a minor to apply for a passport or can only one parent apply?
My husband’s second eldest son who is 15 years old is wanting to go to overseas with his sports team of a couple of months. We are not in agreeance with him going overseas at this young age especially as dh does not know any particulars except that he belongs to this team and that they are going at the end of the season. Our problem here is that he resides full time with his mother and is working on the weekends so no time has been spent in the last couple of months with his father other than by phone and the mother does not converse at all with the father.
